Lynn Yeo & Sumei Shum
Lynn & Sumei have been avid students of yoga since 2001. They are meticulous teachers of alignment-based hatha yoga, specifically in the style of Anusara yoga, always teach together, and instruct with clarity and humour. Being committed to making yoga accessible to all, their classes are thoughtful, challenging, full of energy and fun.
They are owners of Space & Light Yoga which recently formed a partnership with COMO Shambhala Urban Escape (part of the COMO international resorts/hotel and wellness group) to bring more teacher trainings, workshops and good quality yoga classes to Singapore
Lynn & Sumei have taught at the Bali Spirit Festival, Asia’s foremost annual Music & Yoga Festival for 3 years. They have also taught at the largest outdoor yoga events in Singapore in 2014 – OmTogether and Yoga Beat on Orchard Road. Both are lululemon athletica ambassadors and are happy to spread the joy of yoga to the community in Singapore.
Together, they run 200Hr Foundational and 300Hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training programmes with the vision of supporting and empowering the growing community of enthusiastic yoga practitioners and teachers.
Lynn & Sumei teach because they want to share their love for yoga and also the joy they have experienced through their practice. Their deepest wish is that through a dedicated yoga practice, we will ultimately be kinder, more awakened beings who will make this world a better place for all.

A business graduate from Curtin University, she quit her Marketing job in 2002 to become a full time yoga and Pilates teacher and has since become a mom to 4 girls (aged 9, 8, 4 and 8 months) who inspire her to be a role model to them. Traveling and living overseas in France and the United States for over 8 years (2001-2003 and 2006 to 2012), Dawn has constantly kept to her practice, and teaches wherever she lives. She firmly believes in making one’s fitness a priority because without it the quality of life suffers, which is why she will always make time to work out everyday even if it means involving her children.
Dawn was introduced to Yoga as a teenager by her coach due to sports related injuries that affected her performance as a competitive swimmer. She gained much more then improvement to her mobility and flexibility as an athlete and since then she has made it an important part of her life and wants to share the benefits with those around her. Having competed in different forms of sports from swimming, marathons, triathlons and off-road competitive biking, it felt like an “ah –ha” moment when yoga and Pilates became a part of her lifestyle. The usual tightness and repetitive strains from training just seemed to mellow down from all the stretches and core work.
Her journey as a fitness professional began in 1999 with Planet Fitness when they first opened in Great World City and the interest to make a positive impact and difference to others has not wavered.
The idea behind Trium Fitness is based on the Power of 3 and helping others achieve mobility, flexibility and balance. The teachers for the studio have been carefully selected and are all on the same page to build a more cohesive community of athletes and fitness enthusiasts. It isn’t enough just to come in and attend a class. What she envisions is also to build a relationship with people who come to us and support one another to form a stronger community.
Hailing from a legal background, Faiz traded in his briefcase for a yoga mat to become a full time yoga teacher in 2014. Having only taught for 3 years, Faiz is a relative newbie to the scene. In that short time however, he has become one of Singapore’s most highly sought after yoga teachers. His classes are known for their crystalline instructions, intelligent sequencing, and nurturing force.
Faiz teaches at several studios around Singapore, including Como Shambala, Anahata Yoga and Fitness First. He has also spent time teaching overseas in Thailand. Faiz calls Ziva Yoga home-base and teaches most of his classes there.
Like Faiz, teachers at Ziva Yoga truly believe that the benefits of yoga are more than just physical. Classes there are challenging but always thoughtfully geared towards holistic development. At Ziva, the aim of the practice is to work the body, condition the mind, and nurture the spirit. Something Faiz looks forward to sharing with all participants at Bliss Out 2017!

The Façade | Gareth Fernandez | TOMGIRL
From what started out as a cover band, alternative indie pop-rock band, The Façade, wrote their first original in 2012 and had never looked back since. Consisting of 4 entirely different individuals, the band found its flavor: pop, rock, with a tinge of blues.
Being part of the NOISE Singapore Music Mentorship Program in 2015, the band have since performed at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, Hood Bar & Café, Timbre @ Arts House, Sundown Marathon 2015, Yfest 2015 and Shine Festival 2016, just to name a few.
With the recent signing to local independent record label, Cross Ratio Entertainment, The Façade had the opportunity to perform as the opening act for fellow label mate – local singer-songwriter Tay Kewei – at her solo concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall this June.
Melodic tropes and groovy beats are signature to the band. The Façade’s live performances often bring the audience through a heartwarming journey with their sentimental and heartfelt lyrics, melodic hooks and tasty beats.
In September 2016, the band released their debut original single ‘Better Than This’, which topped the overall iTunes chart at #2 within the first day of its release. The recent release of their second single ‘Victim’ has also claimed #4 on the iTunes alternative chart. The Façade’s debut EP will be released in 2017.
The Façade is: Brendon Chua (lead vocals, guitar), Jereld Ang (vocals, lead guitar), Shawn Chan (drums, percussion), Benjamin Mah (bass).
Gareth Fernandez is a Pop/R&B artist based in Singapore who loves blending the latest pop tunes with a dash of old-school elements.
Best known for his energetic performances with long-time band The Momma Shop, Gareth has been a regular in the burgeoning local music scene for several years now. Some of his milestone performances include Music Matters, Mosaic Music Festival, PinkDot, Influence Asia, and Mediacorp’s New Year’s Eve Countdown Party – Celebrate 2016 on live national television.
His latest earworm, Bit Of Your Love, has garnered over 700,000 streams on Spotify, and is currently featured on the airwaves at Lush99.5FM, 987FM, Class95FM, Kiss92FM and Power98FM.
Gareth is working on more new music, and is slated to release his sophomore EP in the middle of 2017.
A shroud of mystery surrounds this dark noir pop duo fronted by Cherie Ko and Ted Doré. Inspired by classic film noir thrillers, motorbike ganglands, insidious femme fatales, TOMGIRL is a deadly assault of heavy guitar riffs, pounding drumbeats and fuzzy bass lines; a smouldering aural seductress of tempestuous desires. The world of TOMGIRL may thrive on noir, but it’s the playful juxtaposition of colour that brings a balanced visual aesthetic that captivates.
